A Cup of Coffee and Gingerbread – the Festive Morning Is Here

This Christmas gift set includes “Black Velvet” coffee – ground or whole beans, as you prefer – and rye gingerbread “Gingerbread Queens with Raspberries” from the Lielezers bakery. Both gifts come in a kraft gift box, so the set can be given straight away.

“Black Velvet” is a blend of Arabica and Robusta coffee beans from South America and Asia. It combines the sweetness of dark chocolate and dried nuts with nuances of dark berries. The coffee is full-bodied and well-balanced, with a rich aroma and a lingering aftertaste, and is especially good with milk. The front of the pack shows a Christmas tree in Riga’s Dome Square with the Riga Cathedral tower, lanterns and Christmas market stalls, along with the greeting “Merry Christmas from Riga”.

The rye gingerbread is topped with white chocolate and dried raspberries. The combination of spiced gingerbread, sweet chocolate and tangy berries goes perfectly with a cup of coffee.

It is a heartfelt gift for a colleague, friend, neighbour or business partner – anyone who starts a festive morning with coffee and something sweet. For visitors from abroad, it will be a tasty keepsake from Riga that brings back memories of Christmas in the Old Town.
