COFFEE BEANS – V.Purvītis

In 2022, to commemorate the 150th anniversary of Vilhelms Purvītis (1872–1945), a special edition tin was released featuring his iconic painting IN Spring (Ziedonis). Created around 1933–1934, this artwork captures the essence of Latvia’s awakening nature, with blooming fruit trees resembling snowdrifts, symbolizing the transition from winter to spring. Purvītis, a key figure in Latvian landscape painting, infused his works with impressionistic techniques, portraying the delicate interplay of light and color in northern landscapes. IN Spring stands as a testament to his contribution to Latvian art and is part of the Latvian National Museum of Art’s collection.

Coffee beans V.Purvītis “Espresso” roast yields intense flavor, a full-bodied texture, lower acidity, and pronounced caramelization and roast notes. It’s easily extractable—ideal for espresso machines, moka pots, or any brewing method when you crave a bolder cup. Best enjoyed from the second week after roasting.
