A Little Warmth for the Chrismas Days

This natural beeswax candle is shaped like a gingerbread man dressed for a Latvian winter, in a knitted hat with a pom-pom and a warm sweater. When lit, the beeswax fills the room with a gentle scent of honey.

It makes a lovely small gift for colleagues, teachers or friends, a little surprise under the Christmas tree or an addition to a larger gift. Many people simply place it on a shelf as a festive decoration.

For visitors to Riga, it is a small, lightweight souvenir that fits easily in a suitcase and will remind you of Christmas in Latvia once you are back home.

Burn the candle on a heat-resistant surface, keep it away from drafts, place it out of reach of children and pets, and never leave a burning candle unattended. Trim the wick to about 5 mm before each lighting.

Please note: the candle is made from natural beeswax, so its shade may vary slightly. Over time, a light white coating, known as bloom, may appear on the surface. This is a natural property of beeswax, not a defect. It can be wiped off with a soft cloth, or you can warm the candle briefly with a hair dryer.
