This Christmas gift set includes four gifts: a ceramic mug with a natural antler handle, canned elk or deer meat, seasoning salt from “Pavāru Māja” in Līgatne and a wooden Christmas tree ornament with a wish. Each gift can be chosen to your taste, and everything is packed in a gift box.
The ceramic mug with an antler handle is handmade. The antlers are found in Latvian forests – the animals shed them naturally, and since no two antlers in the forest are alike, every mug is unique. The mug is available in three colours.
Alongside the mug comes a taste of the forest: canned elk or deer meat, 240 g, to enjoy with bread or add to a meal. The set is completed with one of five “Pavāru Māja” salts and a wooden ornament.
Salt options:
Mushroom salt (95 g) – sea salt, dried forest mushrooms, thyme, cornflower petals. Add to red meat, oven-roasted root vegetables, soups and vegetable purées.
Smoked salt (95 g) – sea salt, smoked paprika, tomato flakes, smoke extract. Add to meat and grilled dishes.
Taste of Latvia salt (95 g) – sea salt, caraway, dried dill, garlic powder, calendula petals. Add to cottage cheese, roasted root vegetables and for lightly curing chicken, salmon or pike-perch.
Herb salt (95 g) – sea salt, thyme, rosemary, basil, fennel, oregano, savory, lavender. Add to fish, prawns, chicken, oven-baked potatoes and salad dressings.
Birch syrup salt (100 g) – sea salt, birch sap syrup. Add to lamb, salmon, Asian dishes, oven-roasted beetroot and chocolate.
