THE TREE OF LIFE. ETHNO HEART.

A lovingly and joyfully created, carefully cherished and long-awaited T-shirt featuring the ethnographic pattern Tree of Life (also known as “puzuris“) designed by the BalticGifts team and their mysterious friends.

The ethnographic puzuris has been around for ages and, although at first glance it seems static and predictable, it is actually full of life, events and unexpected twists – just like the pattern it depicts, free-flowing in places and yet full of immediate twists and turns, reminding us how much everything happens in a natural way.

How did this come about? This T-shirt design came about not only because we really wanted to include something of our own creations in the shop. It was also created as a visual reminder to ourselves that we have already achieved so much on this long journey and that we want to continue to strive for perfection and order in our thoughts and actions. For in the daily rush of life, we all have our hands full and our work environment becomes a creative and intense mess that sooner or later, as in all our lives, requires us to strive for the opposite – order and balance.

Do we also see the heart there? Absolutely! Because the Universe has no distinct centre, but we think it has a big heart that radiates love! The tree of life has one too. It is the heart of us all, and it also surrounds our beautiful ancestral lands. This shirt is about hearts united in their yearning for a loving Latvia. This shirt is about us!
